Singing is innate for the Basque people, it’s a vital need, and it's not uncommon to see a group of friends in a restaurant singing a song a capella without any instruments, just for the pleasure of sharing a good time, because singing is an integral part of enjoying the moment with others and celebrating.
Traditional songs are not just pieces of music, they represent the roots and history of the Basque people. The melodies are sometimes sad, sometimes very joyful, and always sung with heartfelt fervour.
Your singing teacher will introduce you to choral singing and, of course, translate the words of your chosen repertoire to help you express yourself fully. It's a great opportunity let rip and a relaxing moment to share as a group.
